These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tikonest Platform. By accessing or using Tikonest, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform.
2. Nature of the Platform
Tikonest is a listing and discovery platform connecting users with spaces, venues, services, and local businesses (“Listings”). Tikonest is not a party to any agreement between users and listing owners.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Listings and Content
- Listing owners are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of their listings.
- Tikonest may review, edit, or remove listings that violate platform guidelines.
- You grant Tikonest a non-exclusive right to display and promote your content on the Platform.
5. Bookings and Payments
- Any bookings or transactions are agreements strictly between users and listing owners.
- Tikonest is not liable for cancellations, disputes, or service quality issues.
- Service or promotion fees may apply and will be communicated clearly.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or illegal content
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the Platform
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
7. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, branding, and trademarks belong to Tikonest or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tikonest shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tikonest harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion, without prior notice, if these Terms are breached.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
13. Platform Fees
Tikonest charges a standard platform service fee of fifteen percent (15%) on each successfully completed booking. The platform fee may vary for certain vendors, services, promotional arrangements, or by written agreement with Tikonest.
